Polymers are organic or inorganic substances with molecular structures composed of a large string of molecules with many uses in the industrial sector and day-to-day life. Sodimate handling systems can be used to for powdered or granular polymers, most often used for water treatment, wastewater treatment, sludge handling, and in the pulp & paper and mining industries. The unique properties of polymers facilitate their use as flocculants, coagulants, and dewatering agents.
Sodimate’s dry polymer feed systems feature a mechanical unloader designed to fully unload storage containers (such as silos, hoppers, and big bags) of the powdered polymer. The systems can also integrate up to four precise volumetric screw feeders, each completely independent and able to feed up to 15,000lb/hr with different lengths and feed rates.
